How do I import tables from the excel into the doors as ole table

Hello, everyone 

I'm developing a script to import a excel (xls)document into doors, I'm able to import all the objects which has text but I'm unable to import the tables from the excel to DOORS as OLE table.

It would be great help if you guy's help me with this Thank you.

Save the table and then there are two options to insert it into DOORS. Use the first option if there is no accompanying text, if there is a combination of text and OLEs you can reconstruct the object using the second method.

Thank you davidcs for your response.  I have tried with the first option I can able to insert the table .
But is there any option to insert table directly from the excel by selecting proper table or by reading proper cells,  without saving separately

Yes, that is an option using OLE automation via DXL. You could read the tables out and then insert them as an OLE object as discussed before. Search the forum for examples for interfacing with Excel. Also, here is a link to a script that interfaces with Excel you can you to get started.
